Special permission for broadcasting a description of the summer meeting has been granted by the committee of the Auckland- Trotting Club. The committee considered it advisable that it should be made known to the public that any decision on the question of broadcasting to date had been only of .a temporary nature and as the conference would shortly take place when uniformity in the matter would no doubt be arrived at permission would be granted in the meantime.
