TRAINS COLLIDE.
SENSATIONAL INCIDENT. HEAVY LOSS OF STOCK. Press Association-Electric Telegraph-Copyright. PERTH, Thursday. A sensational railway collision on the main Perth-Fremantlc line, six; miles from Perth, resulted in the derailment of thirty fully laden trucks and the deaths of a large number of sheep and pigs. A stock train, when approaching Swanboimie, was crashed' into by another train. Just as the debris was being dragged clear of the line another train crashed into the wreckage. All the engines remained on the metals, but the trucks of all except the third train were telescoped. The force of the impact was so severe that the trucks burst their sides and released droves of sheep and pigs, many of which were mowed down by the third train. It will be many hours before normal traffic is resumed.
