COUNTRY V. TOWN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The annual match, Town versus Country, commenced at noon at the Basin Reserve, under excellent conditions. Barclay replaced Nelson in the town team. Lash (Taranaki) and Gee (Wairarapa) replaced Collins and Neale in the Country team. Town won the toss and gave Country the first strike.
