MISTRESS IN MEDITERRANEAN. PARIS, Wednesday. During the cruiser debate, M. Victor Brcmond insisted on France being the mistress of the Mediterranean, even if she was on good terms with Signor Mussolini. He added that the overpopulation of Italy constituted a grave danger, while France must never risk her communication with Algeria being threatened.
