MONKEYS ACT AS JOCKEYS. (Received Wednesday, 11.0 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. An innovation was provided in the greyhound races when 1 in two events dogs were ridden by specially trained monkeys. The first, event was a hurdle race, and the second a fiat race. In both races the monkeys retained their mounts. One dog after the race cleared a six-foot gate, but the jockey refused to be shifted.
