SUICIDE ON BEACH.

MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday. With his brains blown out throng!) a shot-gun wound, John Edward Blytlicn, a single man, aged 25, was found ou Shoal’Bay beach, Northcotc, at about 9 o'clock last evening. The dead man lived with his parents at Raleigh Road, Northcotc. lie had tea with his family at seven o’clock last evening, and was last seen at the house at 5.30. Not long afterwards a neighbour told the father that the young man had been seen going along Exmouth road with a gun. A search was made immediately, and the body was found with a doublebarrelled shot-gun lying alongside. For a long time young Blythen had been depressed.
