CRICKET.
FIVE DOUBLE CENTURIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NELSON, Alonday. E. R. Neale, who carried his bat in a Newman Shield game on Saturday for 200, has now made a double century in senior cricket on five ocasions, and it is thought that this is a record for New Zealand. The annual match between the Wanganui Collegiate School and Wellington College resulted in a substantial win for the local Collegians by an innings and 106 runs. This marks “School’s” fifth successive win in this annual contest. Wanganui College made 50-6 (Gicsen 110, Bunny 56, Burke 35, Douglas 24 not out, AlcDougal 29, Horna-i brook 20). Wellington College compiled 155 and 45. Ilornabrook, who is a son of Air B. W. B. Ilornabrook, of Masterton, took 6 wickets for 42 in Wellington’s first innings. 45 is not the lowest score that has been put up in the inter-College matches, Wanganui holding that record with 26 runs. The highest score ever put up was the 324 runs to the credit of Wellington College.
