GIFTS ACKNOWLEDGED. The master and matron, in their report for November and December, state, inter alia: —The boys are ali in good health and looking forward to the holidays. Alost of them have done well in their school examinations, two having gained their proficiency, and have passed 'their respective standards. There is a ten days’ scout camp being held during the holidays, for which there is a charge of Is per day per head. With the committee’s approval, I should like to send our Scouts to this camp. The recently confirmed boys have taken their first Communion, and all attended the Fellowship breakfast. “Toe II ” have sent an invitation for two boys to join their camp in the Sounds. All expenses will be paid, and the camp is to last ten days. I would suggest Harry (“Peter”) CTossan and George Bullcn bo the two boys to go. The Rotary Club kindly invited the boys to a Christinas dinner, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Air X’o;is has given us six acres of clover hay on his property in College street/ and as soon as the weather clears I will cut this.. We should be well off for liny next winter, as I shall also get a good crop from the o re hard.
