ENDURANCE TEST.
BRUCE’S EFFORT. MEETS WITH ACCIDENT. RUGBY, Thursday. While driving his car in a snowstorm last night in the ten days’ endurance test at Montliery, Victor Bruce met with an accident from which he escaped unhurt. The ear overturned owing to a skid on the ice-covered course. Mr Bruce drove the car to the repair shed, where it was immediately overhauled with a view to continuing the test. Later. After repairs to the car, necessitated by the accident, the Hon. Victor and Mrs Bruce restarted at [Montliery this morning in an attempt at record-break-ing in a ten days’ endurance test. The 15 hours’ lost time will lower their average, but as they - had gained 25 hours’ advance on the full 5000-mile record, they are still ten hours ahead. —British Official Wireless.
