WELLINGTON FIRES.
TWO SMALL OUTBREAKS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WEL LINGTON, Wedn esd ay. Two small outbreaks of fire occurred in Wellington to-day. At 3.44 p.m. an outbreak occurred on the premises of J. ilott, Ltd., advertising agents, J'ervois Quay. It is thought that the cause was a spark from an incinerator on the ground floor igniting some paper. The refuse office and its contents were damaged. The second fire occurred at S p.m. in Broadway Buildings, Courtenay Place. The lire originated in the premises of Horace Burton Bose, who occupied a portion of the first 'floor. The contents, including a quantity of polish, were badly damaged, but little other damage was done. While endeavouring to save his -stock, Bose was struck by falling glass, receiving several painful cuts on the forehead .and forearms. He was removed to hospital. His condition is not serious.
