SYDNEY SALES. PRICES FIRM. SYDNEY, Tuesday. At the wool sales the market is firm at the previous days’ rates, with a firmer tendency in the 3asc of best descriptions, and better enquiry for spinners’ wools. Comebacks and crossbreds sold readily at late rates. Greasy Merino ilceee sold to 41d, a record for the season. LONDON SALES. A MODERATE OPENING. .LONDON, Monday. At the wool sales 9329 bales were offered, of which 3676 were Australian and 4053 New Zealand. It was a moderate offering, the Merinos being somewhat of a miscellaneous character, and limited in supply. Greasy crossbreds showed an excellent selection. The slipes market was firm, all sections •operating at late rates. New Zealand sales: KS/TB, highest price 19d, average 17d. BRADFORD TOPS PLAT. LONDON, Monday. The Bradford tops market is flat. There is no business. Topmakcrs are quoting lower prices.
