WEDDING.
HARRINGTON—ACKERMAN. A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church this morning, when Miss Ethel Ackerman, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ackerman, of The Terrace, Lansdowne, was married to Mr William Leslie Harrington, second son of Mr and Mrs F. Harrington, of Masterton. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming gown of silver lace and georgette, with veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaid, Miss Eileen Harrington, was dressed in iavender georgette and lace. The flower girl, Nilla Flawos, wore a dainty frock -of pink crepc-de-chine Mr Frederick Harrington was best man, and the Lev. M.r Howes, of Carterton, the officiating clergyman. After the ceremony a reception was held at Messrs Hugo and ■Shearer’s rooms. The young couple left later for the north on their honeymoon trip.
