TO BE RETAINED. BY QUEENSLAND UNIONISTS. Press Association-Electric Telegraph-Copyright (Received Wednesday, 8.43 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. The Queensland Trades Union Congress has decided to retain the strike weapon. A resolution was adopted declaring that arbitration and conciliation as a method of settling disputes shall not prevent the workers exercising their right to strike when necessary. The Congress also declared that the proposed Council of Railway Unions was inimical to the interests of railwayman and unionists generally, and invited if to disband.
