YESTERDAY'S POLLING RESULTS. AUCKLAND. •gk (By Telegraph—Press Association.) vV :yj. AUCKLAND, This Day. - J s<Ajf‘'the retiring members in the Auckland City Council were re-elected, except A.. Thompson. There are six new members, including Miss Hasten. There lire' three' Labour members, as compared with two at the last Council. In the Takapuna election the whole of the old Council were rejected, this being a decisive victory for the party opposed to the proposed purchase of ' the'tram and ferry service. , For. the Auckland Harbour Board, Messrs Bloodworth, Hutchinson, Inder and Johnson were elected. •' , For Otahuhu, Mr R. B. Todd was reelected Mayor. In the Auckland Hospital Board election, the retiring members were reelected, except Mr W. A. Thompson, who is rejilaced by Mr M. J. Savage (Labour). ; WAIPAWA W WAIPAWA, This Day. M. Rathboue was re-elected Mayor in a triangular contest, defeating his opponents by an absolute majority. CHRISTCHURCH. ■ .
