AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
RANDOLPH ROSE FUND. TO SEND TEAMS OVERSEAS. It was reported at the meeting of the council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic. Association last night that the tour abroad of Randolph Rose, champion miler, and his companion, Mr McHolm, had cost £llOO. With interest accrued up till the end of . November, the fund now stood in credit to the extent of £IO3O. In accordance witif a resolution passed by the. council, this amount will be held in reserve with a view to sending further teams overseas.
