WELLINGTON SALE. The Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Association, Ltd., report as under: —The s'econd wool sale of the season commenced at 9 o’clock this morning, our catalogue being first on the, list. We submitted our offering to a full and representative bench of buyers, all lots meeting with very spirited bidding. Finer lots suitable for America were in good demand, showing an advance of fully one penny on the opening sale, coarser wools showing a rise of onehalfpenny to one penny per lb. Six bales of Southdown hogget wool offered on behalf of the F. C. Turnor estate realised ;i9J.d. Nine bales of “ Aniledale” hogget wool brought 161 d. and lod was ‘received for first pieces of the same brand.
