FOUND DEAD.

COMPLICATED CIRCUMSTANCES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WIIA X GAR El, Wednesday. A retired farmer named Thomas Forsyth, a single man( aged -30 years), was found dead in a creek near the Wlumgarci Falls bridge yesterday. His head and shoulders Were submerged in thirteen inches of water. Deceased’s coat and two walking sticks were in a position which suggested that lie had collapsed when stooping to obtain a drink from the stream. A gold watch, and chain, cash of over £<s. and a cheque for £l7 were found in the pockets of his clothing. Though drowning was first supposed to be the cause of death, marks oii the neck, as though made by a rope, were observed when the body was examined at the morgue. Forsyth had suffered from acute rheumatism for a number of years, and had to rely on walking sticks when moving about. He was last seen alive on Monday, blit no anxiety was felt, as it was thought that he was visiting relatives'. An inquest was opened this morning, but was'adjourned for a week in view of the complicated circumstances.
