CHILDREN’S HOME.
CONCERT NEXT TUESDAY. A very successful rehearsal was held in connection with the concert to be given in St. Matthew's Parish Hall next Tuesday, in aid of the funds of the Methodist Children ’9 Home. The big boys of the Home are doing a sketch and just revel in it. This will be well worth seeing. The big girls in the allegory arc Splendid. Their dresses will be a feature of the performance. The “Clock Fairies” by the smaller children will be something unusual and their dresses arc most unique and well designed. There will also be recitations by the children, and little boys and girls from 2 years old will sing. They will also be assisted by wellknown singers, and Misses Mary Logan and Margaret Jenkins, popular local dancers. MiSs Houghton, sewing*mistress at the Home, assisted by several ladies, has been working hard with the various costumes. The tickets are selling rapidly. Beats may be booked free at Vare’s music shop.
