AUCKLAND CONTESTS. (By Telegraph—Press AUCKLAND, Monday. Two, featherweight bouts of ten rounds each for stakes of £75 were staged at the Town Hall to-night. H. Gunn (Tiinaru) S.l2£, and R. Overend (Napier), 9.21, fought a draw. Gunn gave a better display in a sparkling contest, and was accorded a great round of applause as he left the ring. In the seventh round of Lis bout with A. Musson (Hastings), 9.0, 11. Reekie (Dunedin) connected with both hands' to tlic jaw, and won a most uninteresting bout on a. knock-out.
