The ‘‘Carnival of Venice ’•’ No! But a real 'live time with the .Wairarapa’ farmers., In the order of things commonplac'd a limit is at length reached, and the ; usual or customary yields to the new or novel. This change is noticeably a periodic one, and is marked by general improvements. There is one season in the year when men depart from old-time practices, and with brighter ideas and equally bright in : tentions, endeavour to give Satisfaction and happiness to others. It is ’Xmas time—the Wairarapa Fanners’ Co-operative Association are planning an enormous ’Xmas Carnival —a. campaign having “universal happiness” for its propaganda. The opening day has been fixed for December Isl. Come one!! Come all! The Wairarapa Fanners’ are out to please you. There are gifts galonc—for old and young, the invalid and vigorously active.
We proclaim a new, easy way for all to participate in gift-giving pleasures of ’Xmas time.
There are “Pleasures in Contentment,” and to you will come satisfaction and absolute contentment. When you see Farmers’ Xmas Carnival prices and the high perfection of their goods, consider ;you|r friends, your home and vourselfi j ■
Your homo, purchasing those furnishings which will give the added tone and extra comfort so long denied you by tlie limitation of your income. ,
Your friends, who really do not expect a generous bestowal of presents, but who nevertheless will appreciate some. Token of friendship and esteem.
Yourself, because von must feel that ’Xmas is here, and be dressed in stylish clothing, and for sporting occasions have ease and freedom. —Advt.
