CAR RUNS INTO SEA.
OWNER SWIMS ASHORE. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Monday. A motor ear and its owner and driver, Mr W. S. 11. Ringer, of Hamilton, fell into the Auckland Harbour shortly before midnight. The accident occurred after Mr Ringer had driven a friend to the steamer Hcrckino. As the car was being turned it backed down a steep incline used for hauling up dinghies on ito the wharf. Car and driver were precipitated into the water. 'Mr Ringer had to break a side-cur-tain to get out, and then swam ashore. , The car was recovered -undamaged:-
