A BEAUTIFUL CRIMINAL.
A GENEVA SENSATION. GENEVA, Saturday. The jiolice broke into the luxurious flat of Helene Mottier, a beautiful bank secretary, and seized 59 Parisian gowns, <3l iiats, 75 pairs of gloves, and large boxes full of lingerie. Mottier was recently sentenced to imprisonment for IS months for forgeries and frauds involving £BOOO, and extending over ten years. It is stated that Mottier never Avore a gOAvn more than three times, and she was considered the best-dressed Avoman in Geneva. She had refused many offers of marriage from wealthy men.
