NIGHT CARNIVAL THIS MONTH: A-t a meeting of the Mnsterton :SAArimming Club last evening it ay as decided to hold a carnival at the Dixon street baths on January 22nd, commencing at 7.30 p.m. A. programme of 11 -events (with heats) was drawn up, including a club championship. Messrs L. G. Williams, R. Rawcliffe J. V. Iloffeinb were appointed to ,-jßtnd a conference at Carterton to -discuss the holding of a district chnm* pionship. The following officials were appointed for the carnival: —Swimming .judges, W. Palamontain, A. A T . Faulknor, T. A. Russell; divihg judges, S. V. Mc--11 wen, A. Donald; timekeepers, J. Bradbury, L. S. Nicol, C. R. Mabson; -starter, W. S. L. Dickson; check starter, W. D. Horne; hnndicapper, L. G. Williams ;gate, H. Mackley; referee, L. Clarke; hon. secretaries, R. Rawcliffie Sind J. Y. Hoffeins. Entries close on January 16th.
