SALVATION ARMY.

ANNIVERSARY SERVICES. The Salvation Army Sunday School Anniversary was brought to a successful conclusion last evening. The hall was crowded, and an excellent programme was given by the children. Major Bladin was the chairman, and kept everyone bright and happy throughout the evening. ! The primary children were especially entertaining with their little actions songs, “Baby’s Lullaby,” “Little Nurses” and “Baby’s Burdens.” Other interesting items by the little ones included a bag drill. A duet, “The Quarrel,” by little Bernice Fairbroth-er and Joey Leighton, merited much applause. Items by the older children included, bar bell and lantern drills by tho girls, action song, • • Busy Firemen,” by the boys, while the items by the girls' and boys-' Bible classes were worthy of mention. “Youth at the Cross,” by the girls, and also a vocal trio, “Water Lilies.” JKTlie boys’ novelty band produwH crood music and an amusing time for the audience. The financial result of the anniversary was excellent. The prize and picnic fund will benefit largely by this.
