PARIS, Friday.
■M. Painlcve told the committee of the Chamber that various Moslem nations "were giving Abdel Krim considerable help in the shape of funds.
Abdel Krim received a ransom from Spanish prisoners which financed the extensive purchase of arms. (France was arranging to cut off sea and land communications, avid launch an offensive on a large scale. Abdel Krim. ’.s speedy surrender was anticipated.—Sun.
RIFF COAST FORTIFIED.

LONDON, Friday.
Abdel Krim, through the Times’ Tangier correspondent, announces that the Riff coast is now fortified, and orders have been given to fire on any ships near the shore.
To avoid incidents with neutral Powers, he requests all merchant ships to give the coast a wide berth. —Times.
