Meeting at ten o’clock in . the morning, A they sat, with a break for lunch, until : : after six in the evening. An adjourn- . meat being then made the delegation •/ leaders, Messrs. J. A. Young and G. W Forbes,, announced that the conference would assemble again at 7.30 p.m. This v; it did, and sat until-a late hour before Yesterday’s late sitting seems indi- • cative riot : only of a desire by one side ■ or both to‘attain, quick results, but ol a, belief that these results possibly might be attained.
