OLDFIELD INJURED. SYDNEY, Thursday. It is now disclosed that Oldfield played through the last test match with two broken ribs'. The damage was caused by a fast one frmo Gregory in the fourth test at Melbourne. Oldfield was medically advised not to play, btt't he, insisted on taking the field—J’. A.
