ASSAULTS ON GIRLS.
TWO MEN TO BE FLOGGED. MELBOURNE, Thursday. The Chief Justice inflicted salutary sentences on three men separately charged with criminal assaults on young girls. One received a sentence of seven years, with two floggings, another two years, with one flogging, and the third five years. —Press Assn.
