PRIESTS’ PROTEST. (By Telegraph—Press Associ^^a.) AUCKLAND, Friday. At a meeting of priests of Auckland city and suburbs, a resolution was carsried expressing loyalty and devotion to Bishop Liston, sympathy with him in. “bitter attacks made upon him and the misrepresentation to which lie has been subjected,”' and assuring him of their cordial support. The resolution was supported by Monsigfior Hackot (president) and seventeen others.
