FARMER FINED £IOO.
FOR FAILING TO DESTROY \ RABBITS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON, This Day. At the Magistrate’s Court a farmer named John Scott, of Newstead, was fined £IOO for failing to take adequatesteps to destroy the rabbits on his property. Evidence was given that valuable land adjoining suffered through the depredation of rabbits from defendant’s property.
