INDIAN INFLUX.
A PROTEST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. Air Veitch, member for Wanganui, received a cable from Suva yesterday, stating that about 140 Indians had arrived there, and were contemplating departing for Auckland on the first opportunity. Mr Veitch has telegraphed to. the Minister for Immigration, strongly recommending that immediate action be taken to prevent the Indians coming to New Zealand.
