BLOWN TO ATOMS.
A COUNTRY TRAGEDY. TERRIBLE DEATH OP WOMEN AND CHILD. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TAUM AR UN UI, Tuesday. Word of a frightful tragedy comes from Tatu, 22- miles beyond Ohura,. From the meagre details to hand it appears that, a charge of gelignite exploded in the house of Mr F. England. a farmer. M,rs England and a child were blown to atoms. There is no trace of the child. Miss Lilburn, sister-in-law of Mr England, was also killed, being blown through a wall. The police and a .Justice of the Peeae have gone out to hold an inquest. No further particulars are to hand. HOUSE PRACTICALLY WRECKED. TAUM AR U NUT, This Day. Information received from an Oluira resilient, by telephone is to the effect that England put a packet of gelignite, in front of the lire to dry, and went away to milk his rows. An explosion occurred, and it is thought that perhaps the woman put the gelignite on the stove. Mrs England was blown out of the back door, and expired a few minutes after the arrival of the doctor.Miss Lilburn was in a separate room when the explosion occurred", and her body and the infant’s were buried under the ruins of the house, which was practically wrecked.
