SHORTAGE OF BLANKETS.
MILLS TURNING OUT TWEED. There is a consiedrable shortage of blankets, in the Dominion at the present time. The demand is so great that the woollen mills arc unable to meet it. The position is said to have been brought about by the fact that many, if not all the mills, in New Zealand are turning out more tweed than in the phst iij order to cope to some extent with the falling-off of importations from England,
