O’Connor, Mr Bonar Law announced that the Irish. Government had decided that persons arrested or detained by order of the-' military authority would in future be given ameliorative treatment from the date of their arrest until they were convicted. After a few Sinn Feiners had been released, the rest discovered that they were required to give a parole to return iu s’ix weeks. This they refused and the releases stopped. There is intense excitement in the streets. The Lord Mayor of Dublin has sum,moiled the authorities to decide- that release of the men without parole.
