RIFLE SHOOTING.
masterton-opaki club. , A SPLENDID SCORE. The Masterton-Opaki Rifle-' Club 'Thursday squad held a competition at the Fairview range yesterday. Ike -distances were 300 and 500 yards. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent. The shooting, was not of the usual hi"h order, excepting Rifleman R. J. King, "who put up the splendid score ot 97 out of a possible 100.
