ACCUSED'S FONDNESS FOR HORSE
RACING.

Walter .lames 1 Robert Keen, who had pleaded guilty in the lower court to having burglariously entered the postmaster's residence at Milton and the Post Office Savings Bank, and stealing 11520, was brought up for sentence at the Supreme Court this morning. He had also pleaded guilty to forging a telegram and stealing a colt at M.'akarara. Mr dustiee Sim said it would be better in the prisoner's own interests that he should be deprived of his liberty for a time in order that he mightbe cured of his fondness for horse-rac-ing, lie was ordered to be detained for reformative purposes for a period of not more than three years.
