FARMERS' UNION COMPETITION
The Farmers-' Union competition this year has been won by Marlborough, who succeeded in retaining the shield by a margin of two points. The winning team 's score was f>4!) points, Masterton. being next with 04 7, and Cisborne third with a tally of ~>2l.
The other scores were: —Eketuhuua, 52]; Gisborne (second team), 441; Ko-rere-Mohipiko, 341. Three other teams failed to send in their results.
