RETURNING SOLDIERS.
A BIG BATCH
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Oiy. It is announced that ten lfners win be arriving in New Zealand during tho month of April, bringing back 90?,S soldiers. This is in pursuance of a policy announced some time ago to bring Lack the men at the rate of ten thousand a month. It is hoped to continue tho April rate, though tho shipping position makes thii -doubtful. Thj Ioni• Eercuera and Tainui, v/hicfc are due to arrive on 26th, 27th and 28th April, have on board 979, 750 and 557 troops respectively. Particulars re the vessels due earlier have already been announced.
