AN ARMED CAMP.

LONDON, Monday
Glasgow resembles «n armed camp, there being ten thousand soldiers there in full kit.
Many workers repudiate- the extremists* methods . It is anticipated that a large number will return to work today. Some correspondents declare that the Government's firm action has saved the city from a disastrous Bolshevist riot. They consider that tho strike is nowbroken, despite the Scottish Trade Union's unexpected decision to support the movement. It is announced that the War Cabinet will take up the dispute immediately. Tho Railway Clerks' Association demand recognition, which Sir Albert Stanley has refused. Tho stationmasters and other supervising officers affiliated with the Association are refraining from drastic action until Tues day.!
