FLOODS IN SOUTH OTAGO.
RIVERS FALL STEADILY.
(By Telegraph —Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday.
Tho rivers in South Otago are falling steadily. The water on tho flooded area i.s gradually receding. Railway communication may be restored by Thursday. The new canal bridge at Kaitangata, erected after the 1917 flood, was carried away this morning and apparently washed out to sea. Tho daily mail service between Kaitangata and Stirling is maintained by boat.
