TIMELY HELP.
RECENT SICKNESS IN FIJI,
(By Telegraph —Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Tuesday.
The Fiji relief party, which returned hy the Talune, states that the death rate was not clearly ascertained, but was probably not more than 5 per cent of tho population. The food supply was becoming a serious problem so far as the Indian inhabitants are concerned. The Fijians had still a supply of yams, ta.ro and lish. Before tho departure of the relief party the Governor eulogised the members for their timely help.
