CATHOLIC PROGRAMME.

"When the conditions of peace are settled, it will be our duty as Catholics to take part in the public rejoicings that will mark the happy occasion. Accordingly we enjoin that $, Solemn Triduum of prayer and thanksgiving in all the parisli churches of the- . Archdiocese shall begin on the Sunday JEt after the date announced for the peace celebrations. On the Sunday itself, there should be a. Solemn Votive Mass of thanksgiving; on Monday, a requiem mass for all our New Zealand soldiers who have died in the war; and on Tuesday the Mass of the Holy Ghost to ask God to guide our Government and rulers in the great task of reconstruction after the war.
