EXCITING EXPERIENCE.
STEAMER IN HEAVY SEA
(By Telegraph —Press Association.) GISBORNE, Thursday. The Blackball steamer Ngahere, while leaving port this morning, was caught, by the sea and thrown across the channel at tho entrance. A heavy sea was eomug in, and the vessel, for a time appeared to be in a serious predicament, but she was ultimately drawn back under the shelter wall. It is understood that tho vessel has sustained no damage.
