Mrs Tregouning was presented with a silver-mounted cut-glass dish. . Miss -Toy, of Masterton, who is short]v*to be n'larried, was presented by the members of St. .'John Ambulance Brigade last night with a silver cake dish find silver teapot, to mark the occasion.- Miss Gillespie made the presenilation on behalf of the members, and J«fc:ud'that. Miss Joy was a very valued 40rmember of the Brigade, and the memhers all wished her long life aud prosperity. The recipient replied in a suitable manner. \t the annual meeting of the Mastorton branch of St. John Ambulance. Brigade, last evening, Mr A. .Donald was presented with a thermos flask as a small token of appreciation of the services he had rendered the brigade for some years past. Mr J. T. M. Hornsby made the presentation, and referred in eulogistic t< rius to the valuable assistance Mr Donald had given the Brigade, and to the deep interest he had always taken in its affairs. Much of the'success achieved by the Brigade in its work was due to Mr Donald, and the Brigade was fortunate in having such a capable and enthusiasv tic helper. Mr Donald, who will shortly leave on a trip Home, suitably ac-knowledged-the gift.
