TRADES HALL BARRICADED

JOHANNESBURG, Wednesday,
A copy of the following cable has been posted outside the Trades Hall from Mr Hunt, secretary of the Labour Federation at Perth, Western Australia, to the secretary of the Federation at Johannesburg: —"Sympathy in your struggle for freedom. Financial assistance will be sent if wanted. Hold out, as the whole of Australia is with you in your fight against Botha and tho Government.''
The Trades Hall is now barricaded with boxes, liquor cases, and furniture, mainly at the back of the hall, but tho main door is also barricaded.
