EMIGRATION DRAIN.
NO AGRICULTURAL WORKERS TO SPARE. Press Association— TVletrraph— Copyright LONDON, Tuesday. The Dominions Commission heard evidence as to the drain caused by omigration in the English country districts.
Evidence was tendered by some Board of Agricultural correspondents, who complained of the activity of emigration agents. They said that there were no agricultural workers to spare for emigration, and it was not to the interest of the Mother Country to be stripped of workers for the benefit of tho colonies. Unless free labour and State facilities were offered, England would be at a disadvantage compared with the colonies.
