CARTERTON HORSE PARADE.
The parade of the sires of the season, under the auspices of the Wairarapa and East Coast P. and A. Society, took place on Saturday last, when thirteen horses were pi esent .• There was also a good attendance of breviers present. The following sires paraded:— Thoroughbreds. —Conqueror, Canada, Peter Pan and Chatsworth. Clydesdales.—Brilliant Boy, Copped Hall Jameson, Dalmuir. Trotters. —Agesemos, Todd Bella, Minting and Waititipi. Pony.—Friday. Suffolk Punch. —Sudbourn Sirdar. It is unnecessary to comment upon the many good qualities of the various horses paraded, as the full pedigress of most of the sires appear in 6ur advertising columns to-day. All the horses were in splendid condition, and were favourably commented upbn by the large gathering of farmers and others present.
