AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Australasian Boxing Championships were commenced to-niglit in Her Majesty's Theatre, which was iillod in cverv part, and .some excellent lights were witnessed in the various bouts, none of them being lacking in interest. The management was excellent. Mr F. Shaw acted as referee, and Messrs W. J. Moir (Christchurch), and H. Goodin (Timarn) as judges. The championship will not be concluded to-night.
