THROWN FROM A HORSE.
GIEL'S SERIOUS INJURIES

INVERCARGILL, Monday
Lena Wilson, aged 13 years, daughter of Joseph Wilson, a farmer at Te Waewae, was thrown from a on Sunday morning, and dragged fifteen chains on a rough road. She was discovered staggering about the road by '■*. passing farmer and his wife, and was suffering from serious injuries to the head and face. She was conveyed to the Aiverton Hospital, where she lies in a precarious condition.
