The trial h:is commenced of William Parker, a. surveyor, for wounding , James Thomas Knox, acting town clerk of Footscray, with intent to murder. Counsel for the defence pleaded temporary insanity. He said that Parker's brother, when twenty-three j'ears old, went to an asylum, where he had remained since. Parker was greatly worried that day.
